I have some behind the scenes chatter to share with you all. I am brewing up a comeback of sorts. Or perhaps a “starting over,” or,  more appropriately, “starting anew” — it has been a dream to pursue family photography as a real thing/business/venture, and that’s where the pieces are finally starting to fall into place. Instead of having everything all neat and tidy, like a new business name and a fancy website, etc, I have decided to take the plunge and just start DOING it. It’s the philosophy I follow anyways with my photography– no need for things to be perfectly wrapped up, perfectly presented, because that isn’t really everyday life anyways, is it? Life is messy sometimes, and not perfectly put together, but it is, more often than not, beautiful nonetheless. And it’s always something we want to remember. So here I am, announcing that I’M FOR HIRE! If you enjoy the way I photograph families, children or couples, and you would like to get more information about setting up a shoot, please reach out to me so we can talk details! And do tell your friends, spread the love!

Also! I’m trying to come up with a new business name that speaks to my style of photography, how life is not always perfectly put together but the memories are what’s important. Throughout my childhood, whenever my family came together for a celebration or just to hang out, inevitably my Mom would pull out shoeboxes full of old photographs and we would reminisce and laugh– we still do it to this day. My vision is that everyone gets the chance to sit around with family and friends to cherish their memories caught in time. Shoebox Photography was my original idea, but it seems it’s already taken by another business. I’d still like my business name to be something that uses the same notion, however. I’d love to hear if any of you have ideas for me on this re-branding! See you soon!
